Sine’s greatest priority is the health and safety of our customers, visitors, and employees – including those of the companies we are of service to.
Over the past couple of months, we have been focusing all of our time on creating a platform that is ‘COVID-19 ready’ which helps companies protect their workplace and people from the spread of COVID-19.
When companies slowly start to transition from an ‘essential workers’ environment to a ‘safe workers’ environment, they will be expected to have the proper processes and regulations in place to protect their people and the greater community. Which won’t be limited to employee’s expectations, it will be from visitors, contractors, the government, and everyone in between.
This means companies will need to contact trace, possibly offer working from home options and create a contactless check-in process which properly informs all visitors of what the company is doing to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
If you read on, you will find out the new features that Sine has developed to help companies do this and ensure that all businesses re-open safely.
The meaning of a ‘safe workplace’ is evolving. One aspect of this is ensuring that all visitors, employees and contractors have the information they need to stay safe before arriving on site.
Visit Info is the first of our COVID-19 features that helps achieve the new level of safety expected from all companies.
Visit Info allows you to add additional text fields to all outgoing invitations, which is shown under the ‘Site Information’ section. With the feature, you can add multiple new text blocks, and customise the headings to suit the information you are sharing with the invitee. The same information can be shared on all visitor passes when they check-in, to make sure that even your employees are seeing important site information.
Visit Info is great for companies who don’t require visitors to complete site workflows but still want to ensure that everyone entering their site are informed of COVID-19 policies and procedures.
To make our new Visit Info feature more powerful, we’ve also introduced Visit Info Image Upload, which enables companies to add images to the ‘Site Information’ section of invites and passes.
With this feature, companies can ensure that all visitors to site see important documents, like our COVID-19 hygiene poster, before arriving on site. Like Visit Info, companies can toggle between showing the documents on invitations, passes or both to ensure everyone on site sees them.
We recently made it possible that site workflows are completed during check-in using the Sine Pro mobile app, but what about those who don’t use the app but will still be arriving on-site?
Well now, with Workflows in Invites, visitors and contractors can complete workflows before arriving on-site with their invitation or pass. This new feature allows companies to add site-specific workflows under the ‘Site Information’ section on invites and passes.
With the new COVID-19 Invalid Responses feature, all invalid responses to a yes/no question will place a site access request into a ‘pending’ state. Or reject the pass completely, giving the visitor additional information about why they were rejected. Giving companies full control over who is allowed on site and who isn’t while also improving contact tracing.
A notification will be sent to the host if an access request is placed into a 'pending' state or if it's 'rejected'. Find out more about notifications.
Users should only use Sine for COVID-19 purposes in accordance with the provisions of their local laws. Sine is not responsible for the capture of information. See Sine’s Terms of Use.
By implementing all of these features, companies can create a 360 degree COVID-19 protected check-in for all of their visitors, employees and contractors. Find out more about how Sine can help your company with COVID-19 or book a demo.
